When we started our photography business, we always dreamed of opening a photography studio downtown Macon , GA. My wife and I would often visit various buildings in the area and talk about what it would be like to offer our service downtown. Today our dream is now reality, we are pleased to announce we are offering natural light studio services to our clients in downtown Macon. Special thanks to our family and friends who had faith in us even when we felt that the task was almost impossible and for your prayers. We are very excited about shooting here. Keep an eye out……you never know what’s up our sleeves.
There is nothing that can describe the love we have for capturing beautiful moments in the personal lives of others. We were blessed to capture the love of Larry and Amanda in the heart of downtown Macon, Georgia at Coleman Hill. If you know Georgia in the summer it is very hot but the weather could not bother the love they have for one another. Larry and Amanda was a fantastic couple to spend time with and so was the wedding. When you have families that welcome you in with love and open arms you can expect some great times and picture perfect moments. Enjoy.
Man O’ Man…what a beautiful sight.A few days ago we had the honor of capturing such great beauty.I know people say that you glow when you’re pregnant.Well, Danyea really glows.Danyea and Israel are expecting their first child in August. Not only is Danyea waiting for her little angel to come, but also her husband Israel to be home from Iraq in time for the baby’s arrival. We are so excited to capture their moments together very soon.Israel, if you’re reading this know that Exodus Photography is praying for you. Here are a few images from our session with the mother to be.Enjoy!!
Last week we had the honor of photographing this wonderful couple. The original engagement session was completely rained out. Would have been nice to photograph in the rain, but with all the thunder and lightening we felt that safety was our first concern. It’s always great to work with couples whose love for each other comes naturally. Rachel & Devell will be married September 6, 2008. We look forward to capturing this joyous occasion. Here are a few images from their session. Enjoy!!
When I was growing up, my mother always wanted us to pick a craft to work on during the summer. I remember the excitement of working on ceramics and taking pride in my work. So each year I look for a new project to work on. Last year it was making a hat for my little girl, this year it is reupholstery. From time to time my wife and I visit the antique malls for antiques to use in our children portraits. While visiting the Payne Mill Antiques in Macon, I came across an old chair for $12 and I knew this would make a great summer project. Check out the before shots and after shots.
There’s nothing like working with clients who love to be photographed. When it’s twins its double the fun. We had the opportunity to travel to Milledgeville, GA to work with two wonderful sisters. Even though Ciara and Chloe look the same they have unique taste for the things they love.
Those who live in the Middle Georgia Area know the importance of music. Many greats have come from this area such as: Otis Redding, Little Richard, and The Allman Brothers Band (just to name a few). It’s always great to welcome a new venue for your recording needs. We had the honor of capturing this great sound and media studio located in Downtown Macon, Georgia. What makes this studio so unique is that it gives local talent the experience of a professional high tech studio at an affordable price. We are very pleased with the studio and we’re sure your experience will be Platinum.Enjoy!!
It’s always wonderful to capture Baby ”G”.We all had a great time at park.Who could pass up a day full of bubbles, parachutes, swings, slides, 1 year old, and laughter? Those are what I call “Small Wonders”.What a great ending to a long week of travel to 3 states (Arizona, Utah, & Oklahoma). Here are a few images from the session.Enjoy!!
On Memorial Day we had the pleasure of capturing an awesome liturgical dancer, Willette. She has been ministering the word of God through dance for 12 years. God designed an awesome purpose for her life. This purpose called her to build a ministry in His name. Her design purpose is to minister to the saved and unsaved, deliver breakthroughs, and proclaim God’s omnipotent word. Here are a few images from her session. Enjoy!
Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.I could not think of any other way to spend the week of Memorial Day than with family and friends. There are so many members in my family who inspire me, one in particular is my brother. His love for my sister-in-law is inspiring and shows what marriage is all about. When I was growing up I always admired the affection they have for one another and how they are not ashamed to show it in public.Enjoy this series and thanks again brother for the inspiration.
